Summer Evening

Oh my it’s amazing outside. A beautiful sky, tiny, tiny water drops falling ever so softly upon your skin, warm air swirling around you gently <– Original posting/Inspiration. I was sitting outside on a warm summers eve. The sky was a rusty red tinter black, tiny drops of water landed on my skin, ever so gently, as a breeze played in my hair and along the ground.

Oh my it’s amazing outside.

A beautiful sky,

tiny, tiny water drops falling ever so softly

upon your skin, warm air swirling around you gently

Dusty darkness envelops the world in a cloak

That ancient, mysterious queen awoke

Rustlings tell of elements at play

They wish not to be kept at bay

Just let me loose they whisper along

We’ll play you this midnight song

Comforting and still but fluid yet

This isn’t over, wouldn’t you bet

That we’ll be back, night after night

After all…It is only our right
